Can you turn off Paypal & Go Cardless pop ups?

When you go into a sales invoice, pop ups appear for Paypal & Go Cardless. The new 'improved' format was supposed to cut the number of clicks - but these are still popping up like unwanted pimples. The guidance on Google seems to only apply to Desktop and the other guidance on community, for some reason will not show when you select it???? I spent sometime on chat and after completing meaningless tasks such as clearing cache and changing browser, my chat closed. We do not use Paypal to collect funds and we never will. How can I get rid of it. Pop ups are blocked in browser, so is this part of QBO?

That sounds like a challenge, especially when all you want to do is focus on your business, Pickle. You're unable to disable pop-ups from QuickBooks Online (QBO) permanently, but you can close them right away to continue with your tasks.

 

These pop-ups are meant to suggest ways to improve your QuickBooks experience. If they’re getting in the way, we recommend ignoring them by clicking the X icon or the "No, thanks!" button to close and get rid of them.

 

On the other hand, we encourage you to submit this valuable idea to our product engineers for consideration in future updates. To send your feedback, follow these steps: 

 

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Go to the Gear icon in the upper right and choose Feedback under Profile.
  3. Type in your recommendation in the Share your feedback field.
  4. Click Next to submit.
