Importing to Quickbooks Desktop from Accountedge Pro MAC?

I realize there isn't a simple export - import button between the two programs, but is anyone familiar with it or have a recommendation on a good but inexpensive service who can do the transfer? I have a very small company and a very small file and have been using Accountedge for 16 years. Because they made the decision not to upgrade to OS Catalina, I'd like to switch to QB desktop for MAC. I don't have employee information nor do I do banking in the program. I simply create invoices, receive payments, and keep track of purchases and bills so that at the end of the year, I can do a statement of accounts to give to my CPA.  THANKS!!!!!

I may recommend a 3rd party service to convert your data file of Acclivity AccountEdge for Mac to QuickBooks for Mac. Send your email address in private message to let me forward it to the vendor. You will make a deal directly to the vendor later.

Unfortunately your member level is not enough yet to send nor receive any PM. Click on my member id > link to my website and you will find our email address in our website.

Thanks for taking the time reaching out here for help, ScraPerfect.

I'd be glad to help you with importing your data to QuickBooks Desktop. Let me share insights when importing data for such a long period might cause your computer to lag.

I'd suggest creating a backup file to keep a record of the transactions. Once done, we can now start importing transactions in batches to QuickBooks for Mac. Let's make sure that we already have the Customers, Vendors, classes, and item in your Company file to ensure the process works well.

We'll import invoices and do the same process for each of the transaction types you import. Here's how:

    To create your spreadsheet:

    1. Choose File > Import > Transaction > Invoices.
    2. Click the Gear menu in the lower left and choose Export Table Template.
    3. Type a name and save the template to a location.
    4. Open the template and add your information, then Save.

    To import transactions:

    1. Once your transaction is ready, copy and paste it into the Import Invoices window.
    2. If everything looks right, click Import.
    3. In the Toolbar, click Invoices.
    4. Check the transactions you've imported.

Please do the same process with other transaction types.

I'll be around if you need more help.

Thanks for offering to help. It appears to me that you are explaining how to import to QB.  I don't see how to export the data from Accountedge.
