Bank transactions not updating

Before we begin, could you tell me if you encountered any error messages while checking your bank transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO)? This will help me assist you efficiently in addressing your concern. 

When your bank isn’t syncing with QBO, it’s likely an issue on the bank’s end. I recommend checking your Barclays Bank's website for messages, display issues, and security updates, as these could affect the connection.


If it's confirmed that there is no issue with your bank, you can manually refresh your bank's connection in QBO to sync any delayed transactions.
 

Here's how:
 

  1. From the left menu, choose Transactions.
  2. Go to Bank transactions.
  3. Select Refresh.

 

If the issue persists, you can disconnect and reconnect the bank account to re-establish the connection.
 

In the meantime, you can manually upload your transactions, so you can keep your business running without any delays.
