Once theMulticurrencyfeature has been activated, you cannot turn this off, @natalie54. This is because currency conversion information will have to be accounted for in the system moving forward. Allow me to explain this further below.
Currently, QuickBooks Online (QBO) does not offer an option to disable theMulticurrencyfeature once it’s enabled. The system starts accounting for transactions in different currencies, including conversion rates and currency-specific calculations. As a result, this also prevents you from downgrading your account.
Here's how to check if theMulticurrencyfeature is active:
Go to theGearicon, then selectAccounts and settings.
ClickAdvanced.
In the currency section, verify if theMulticurrencyis turned on.
If you find that it’s turned off but are still unable to downgrade, you canclear your browser’s cacheas this troubleshooting step can resolve the issue.
If the feature is active, someone may have accidentally enabled it. You can use the Auditlog to identify any changes or actions within your account.
Here's how:
Go to theGear icon.
SelectAudit log.
From there you can see all the actions and changes within your QuickBooks Account.
