Core payroll does not journal only maps to expenses and tax liabilty. How do I journal net pay as a liability?

My accountant has flagged a similar issue with core payroll showing in some reports but not all. We have checked all settings and all seems to be correct. Not contacted support yet as she is still trying to correct the issue, but it does look like there is a problem somewhere.
