The Error 480 you encountered when reconnecting your First Direct (FD) bank accounts to QuickBooks Online (QBO) typically happens due to changes in the bank’s security protocols, account login credentials, or updates on the bank’s website, Alison.

 

First, I recommend visiting your financial institution’s website to check for any announcements or maintenance updates that might affect the connectivity between First Direct and QBO.

 

If you’ve verified everything on your bank’s end and confirmed that your account credentials are correct but still cannot reconnect your bank accounts, we can clear your browser’s cache and cookies .
