Please help me cancel my Intuit Data Protect account as I am no longer in business and do not use QB.

Thanks for reaching out, and I’m sorry to hear you’re closing your business. I can help you cancel Intuit Data Protect (IDP).

 

Please note that IDP (or desktop plan) is no longer offered for UK versions and is only available for US Desktop versions.

 

Once your IDP was bundled with a US subscription, cancelling your QuickBooks Desktop plan will automatically cancel IDP.

 

If you purchased IDP separately, you can cancel it manually by signing in to the Camps account and confirming if everything has been cancelled.

 

Here's how to cancel your subscription in Camps:

 

  1. Log in to your CAMPs account.
  2. Choose the QuickBooks Desktop Account you want to modify. (If you have more than one, your login profile will show you which one is currently selected.)
  3. In the Products & Services area, find your subscription or service (like IDP Alacarte), then select Details.
  4. Select Cancel Service under the active.
  5. Hit Continue to cancel and confirm your cancellation by selecting Cancel Now.

 

You’ll receive an email confirmation once the cancellation is made.
