I’ll be sharing some information that can help you in changing the accountant in QuickBooks Online (QBO), John.
Please know that only the primary administrator has the authority to modify the accountants in QuickBooks Online. Therefore, you will need to coordinate with the primary admin and have them follow the steps below to take out the old accountant's information and add the new one.
Sign in to QBO as a primary admin.
Click the Gear icon, then choose Manage users.
Select the Accountants or Accounting firms tab.
Find the accountant you want to remove.
From the Action column, select Delete and hit Delete again.
Click the Invite button, then enter the new accountant’s contact info and click Save.
