Question

Is intuit scammers? If not why I was charged 2 weeks ahead of my supposed normal date and why the amount is not the one in the offer we agreed on? Took the website offer

When your account creation date doesn't match standard billing, an immediate pro-rated charge may appear as the system syncs your account to a standard cycle. This normal alignment occurs during your first 1-2 billing periods, making it appear that you were charged early.

However, two reasons explain why the charge might be higher than offered:

  • Moving your billing date triggers a combined charge for the next month's £5 promotional rate plus a pro-rated fee (roughly £2.50 to £4.00) to cover the days between your sign-up date and new cycle date.

  • QuickBooks UK prices exclude 20% VAT, which is added at checkout. If the £5 advertised price was tax-exclusive, your statement will show a higher total including VAT.

You can check for other subscriptions by signing in to accounts.intuit.com, just in case you signed up more than once by accident.

For more details, see this article: Pro-Rated Charges.
