My accountant is asking why I don’t have the journal function and I need to find out how to add it or contact someone which is impossible

Welcome to the Community page, 

If you have one of our QuickBooks Online accounts, (simple start, Essentials or plus) you will have the journal function as it is a standard feature in all of them. You will see the option for journal entry by going to the + new icon then on the right hand side under other the third option down is journal entry.  However if you have a Quickbooks Self-Employed account there is no option at all for to do journals.
