account on hold due to payment issues, but I spoke to an adviser yesterday and he said all looked fine, do i need to do some kind of refresh on quickbooks

My accountant online account seems to be working fine except for payroll option on a couple of clients. I spoke with an advisor yesterday about payment and he said everything was fine and subscription all good, so why is my payroll option not working, is there maybe a refresh quickbooks option on desktop?? As I know that when I uninstall QB on mobile and reinstall it refreshes everything

There isn't a specific refresh button, but you can easily refresh QuickBooks by logging out and logging back in. Could you please let me know if you or your client handles the billing? This will help us determine who can access the Subscriptions and Billing page. If the account status is active there, we can then proceed with refreshing the connection.

 

Here's how to check:

 

  1. Open your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Navigate to the Gear icon and select Subscriptions and Billing.
  3. Verify the status of your payroll subscription.

 

If the status shows as anything other than Subscribed or Active, there may be other steps required. If it's inactive, you can contact our Intuit Experts so they can further check your account and resolve it.
