Can you help me -adding a new employee - having trouble with entering the provincial tax $10783 doesn't have a edit sign not sure how to put this amount in ??

Your payroll is an essential part of your business and I'm glad you're using QB to seamlessly manage it. If you're referring to the TD1 information, here are the steps you'd need to follow to enter the tax amounts:

1. Go to Employees or Payroll menu, then select Employees.
2. Select the name of the employee.
3. Select Edit ✎ beside What are [employee's] tax withholdings?.
4. Enter the employee's TD1 information, provincial taxes, and tax exemptions.
5. Select Done to save.

If you're not seeing the Edit icon, I suggest logging into your QBO account using a private/incognito browser window. If this works, proceed with clearing cache and cookies on your browser. Doing this helps fix most issues the site may be having.
