How does my accountant get access to my accounts to do year end using my online QuickBooks programme.

Your accountant may utilize QBO Accountant account to access your QBO account.

Giving your accountant access to your QuickBooks Online account to do your year end is a great idea. I can help walk you though how to invite your accountant to access your QuickBooks Online account.

Sending an invite is something we try to make as simple as handing the papers to your accountant. In order to send the invite you just need to follow the steps in this tutorial. Once it's sent your accountant has 48 hours to accept before it expires. Once they join they will be listed as an accountant user till you wish to remove them. If you ever wish to remove them you can follow these steps to do so.

1. Go to Settings ⚙, then select Manage users.
2. Find the accountant you want to remove.
3. From the Action▼ dropdown, select Delete.
4. Select Delete to confirm
