Welcome to Community! QuickBooks Online is a versatile program with built in features essential for your accounting needs. When you need to make changes to your email address, there's a couple of things to have a look at. I'd be happy to assist!
One of the ways to update your email address is within your profile. Here's how:
1. Once you're logged into QuickBooks Online, select your profile icon next to Gear ⚙ in the top right
2. Open Manage your Intuit Account
3. Click on the Sign in & security menu
4. Make the necessary changes in the User ID, Email address, or Password section
5. When you're done, hit Save
Follow these steps to look at is your company settings:
1. From the Gear in the top right, select Account and Settings
2. Click the Edit icon next to the Contact Info section
3. Update the Company email and the Customer email
4. Hit Save and then Done when finished
If you're receiving emails for payroll, update the information this way:
1. Click on the Gear in the top right and select Payroll Settings
2. Choose Contact Information
3. Update and Confirm the email address and then hit OK
