Question

Previous Accountant can't remember password used to "Close Period" once complete - how can I set up a new password to close the period so no further changes can be made?

In order to change the password, you'll need to be signed in as the Primary admin, then you can follow these simple steps:

 

1. Head to the "Gear" icon and select "Account and settings"

2. Click on "Advanced options"

3. Chose the "Accounting" section at the top

4. In the "Password" box, change the password, then confirm.

5. Hit "Save" the "Done"

 

The new password should be available for use. I hope this helps!
