Question

Why is Quickbooks now saving everything I do as a draft? I have not changed any settings and I'm the only admin.

Hi there, Tracy. The reason why QuickBooks Online (QBO) is now saving your work as drafts is due to a new Autosave update.

This feature acts as a safety net to prevent data loss if you lose your connection or close a tab. QuickBooks is trying to help by capturing your progress the moment you start a new entry. This doesn't mean you're creating a duplicate; the system is simply holding your information in a draft state until you are ready to finalize it. To ensure your work is recorded properly, always make sure to click one of the Save options, such as Save and close or Save and new.
