Can I connect Quickbooks (simple start plan) to my Biz Venmo account

Yes, you can connect your Biz Venmo account into QuickBooks Online (QBO) Simple Start. I'm here to guide you with the detailed steps.

 

  1. Open your QBO account, then click on Banking at the left pane.
  2. Go to the Banking page, then click on Connect account or Link account (if you have existing bank connected).
  3. Search and select Venmo.
  4. Input the login credentials, then follow the onscreen pop-ups to complete the process.

I have already gotten that far.  When I enter my venmo credentials, the only account that shows up is my personal account. I need to link my business account.  How do I do this?

    You may have the same credentials on your personal and business Venmo account. That's why QuickBooks is only reading your personal account after connecting it. 

     

    To ensure you can connect your business Venmo account, you'll want to contact your financial institution to separate the login credentials for your personal and business account.

     

    Once the credentials are separated, you can now connect your business Venmo account using the correct login credentials. For more guidance, feel free to check out this article: Connect bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Online.
