Can't save updated company address. US address to a different country. "Something's not right. Refresh this page and try again" pops up. What should we do?

The error message you’re seeing occurs because your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account was originally set up for the United States. QBO includes features specific to U.S. tax regulations, USD currency, payroll, and reporting formats, and these settings cannot be adjusted to fit a different country.

QBO offers separate versions tailored to each country’s tax rules, currency, and compliance requirements. Once an account is created, the base country cannot be changed, as the software does not support cross-country configurations.

If the account was set up for the wrong country, you’ll need to create a new account for the correct region and subscribe to it. You can cancel the old account if necessary.
