How can I download a backup of my QuickBooks account into a CVS file?

QuickBooks Online Advanced is the only plan that provides QuickBooks cloud backup and restores capability.

For other QuickBooks Online plans, you need to manually export data and create a backup spreadsheet in Excel. Then, save it in a CSV format.

Here's how:

1. Go to the Settings ⚙ icon from the toolbar.
2. Under Tools, select Export Data.
   
3. On the Reports tab, set the date range.
4. Add or remove items from the Reports and Lists tabs by toggling the slider.
5. Select Export to Excel.

Looking for a continuous backup of your data? There are third-party apps in the QuickBooks App store that provide a continuous backup. Here's how to find one.

1. Go to this site: QuickBooks App store.
2. Use the Search by name, keyword, job, or category box and type 'QuickBooks Online backup'.
   
3. Choose one from the results.
   
4. Select the Learn more button so you'll be routed to the app website. 
5. You can also dial the phone number or email their support for assistance. The contact details are on the right side of the page from the App information section.

If you are using QBO US version, convert your QBO data to a QB Desktop file as a backup. Another option, use the exporter tool.
