Welcome to Community, @kash4wealth.

 

Let me guide you in changing your user name login.

 

Here's how:

  1. Open a browser then go to http://accounts.intuit.com/.
  2. Log in using your email and password.
  3. If you don't  have an account yet, click Create an Account below.
  4. Once login, on the Sign-in & Security tab click Edit on the User ID.

You can also add,delete,or change user access.

I want to my user name for community only. Not log to quickbooks. 
my present login is my email address that I want my namr

Thank you for reaching out to the Community. Changing your username log-in in the Community is not possible. You may need to create a new user name using your email address you want.  

 

You can also reach out to our Customer support team, They'll be able to pull up your account and help you with creating a new login in the Community.

 

To contact our support, here's how: 

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company. Then click Help (?).  
  2. Choose to Talk to a human.
  3. Enter "Talk to a human" again in the search bar.
  4. Select I still need a human, then click Contact Us.
  5. Choose a way to connect with us.

I have used QB for years and recently purchased QB Pro 2021. My old User Names, lucyleehilt and [email address removed] keep coming up when I try to enter my account. I want to delete them and use my user name [email address removed] now.

Welcome to this conversation, @lucyleehilt. I'm here to walk you through updating your username in QuickBooks Desktop. 

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to camps.intuit.com or go to My Account: Sign in for help in case you can't sign in.
  2. Choose the product or service you'd like to manage.
  3. Go to the company name drop-down menu, then select My Profile.
  4. Click Edit on the User ID field, then enter your new email address.
  5. Enter your password in the Password field, then select Save.
