There's currently no in-app setting to adjust the size or layout of the invoice window in the QuickBooks Online iOS app. The layout reflects what's available in your current version, and any changes would come through a future app update from Intuit.
That said, here are a few things you can try in the meantime:
Try QuickBooks in a browser instead
If you open QuickBooks in Safari on your iPad, you get more control over the display:
- Pinch to zoom in or out directly on the screen.
- If you have a connected keyboard, use Command + to zoom in and Command - to zoom out.
- You can also tap the AA icon in Safari's address bar to adjust text size.
Customize your invoice layout
This won't change the window size, but you can adjust how your invoices look. Things like fields, content, and branding, using Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online. Note that template customization needs to be done from a web browser, not the app.
Request this as a feature
If being able to resize the invoice window in the app would help your workflow, you can send that feedback directly to the QuickBooks product team. Open QuickBooks in a web browser, go to the Gear icon, then select
Feedback. Enter your suggestion and select Next. The product team reviews all feedback and considers it for future updates.
Let us know if there's a specific part of the invoice workflow you're finding difficult and we can point you in the right direction.
