How do i combine information from a self employment account to a newer account?

You can export your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) information and upload it into your new QuickBooks Online Simple Start (QBO) account. While QuickBooks Self-Employed doesn’t have a customer list, you can export your invoice history as a PDF, edit the customer names in Excel, and upload them through the QuickBooks Online Customers & leads section.

 

For invoices, download your financial data from the QuickBooks Self-Employed Reports menu for your tax records. Then, manually recreate any active, unpaid invoices in your new QuickBooks Online account to continue tracking open balances.

 

For mileage, you can download your trips by going to the Miles menu. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Miles menu.
  2. Select All from the Type ▼ dropdown.
  3. Select the Year ▼ dropdown and then Custom date.
  4. Choose the start and end dates. Then select Apply.
  5. Click the Download or Email icon to get your mileage info.
