How do I get a personal profit and loss report?

There's no direct way to run a personal income and spending report in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).

However, you can work around this by downloading the Profit and Loss report and customizing the information in Excel. Before doing so, ensure your transactions are correctly categorized as Personal and Business for accurate records.

To export the report, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to Reports.
2. Select the dropdown button under the Profit and loss section.
3. Click Download.
