How do i setup placing the decimal point automatically when making entries

I'll step in and give some information regarding the decimal point placement in QuickBooks Online. 

QuickBooks Online can only change the decimal format when making entries. It doesn't have the ability to place the decimal point automatically. 

You'll want to manually enter the decimal point as you make your entries in the meantime. 

You can also send feedback to our developers regarding the decimal point feature (similar to how it works in the Desktop version). They'll take a look at your suggestion and consider it for future updates. 

Simply click the Gear icon, then select Feedback. 

If you need to change the decimal format for your entries, you'll want to go to your Account and settings:

1. Click the Gear icon, then select Account and settings.
2. Go to the Advanced tab.
3. Open the Other preferences section.
4. Select a format under Number format.
5. Click Save, then Done.
