If you are migrating from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online, ensure you still have the supported version of QBDT. Also, the total targets should not exceed 750,000 for it to be converted to QBO. Keep in mind that there may be differences after you move your data.
Then, you may proceed to Step 2. This step will guide you in transferring your QuickBooks Desktop file to QuickBooks Online. Know that you have to determine what specific edition of the product you are using before moving your file. For Quickbooks Desktop (QBDT) 2020 version or older, you'll need to move your data with an online migration tool. To ensure you've selected the correct migration tool link for your QuickBooks Desktop version, I've added the exact links below:
