I’ve got you covered in migrating your data to QuickBooks Online.

If you are migrating from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online, ensure you still have the supported version of QBDT. Also, the total targets should not exceed 750,000 for it to be converted to QBO. Keep in mind that there may be differences after you move your data.

Then, you may proceed to Step 2. This step will guide you in transferring your QuickBooks Desktop file to QuickBooks Online. Know that you have to determine what specific edition of the product you are using before moving your file. Once you have identified the edition, you may proceed to Step 3, view the video guidelines to prepare your QBO file: Move your QuickBooks Desktop file to QuickBooks Online.

If your QuickBooks is 2020 version or older, you can move your data to QuickBooks Online with an online tool.

For further assistance with your migration process, I'll be available to help you at all times. Have a great day!

It's our priority to ensure you can successfully migrate your data to QuickBooks Online (QBO), George.

For  Quickbooks Desktop (QBDT) 2020 version or older, you'll need to move your data with an online migration tool. To ensure you've selected the correct migration tool link for your QuickBooks Desktop version, I've added the exact links below:

After choosing the correct link, select Get Started, then sign in with your Intuit Account. Once done, I suggest following Step 2 in this article to complete the process: Move your Books to QuickBooks Online with an Online Tool.

Additionally, I've added these articles that'll help you learn how the features and data move from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online and how to get started with the online version:

Please keep us posted if you have any other concerns besides moving to the online version. Let us know by clicking the Reply button below. Take care and stay safe!

Hello there, Tw36.

Migrating to QuickBooks Online (QBO) by uploading your QBDT company file from a flash drive is unavailable. Let me guide you the right way to move your data.

Before we begin, let's ensure that you've already secured the following before starting the migration process to avoid any issues along the way.

If you’ve confirmed everything is ready but are still experiencing issues with the export process, we can proceed with option two, which is to use the online migration tool.

Alternatively, you can restore the data from the flash drive to QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise (Free Trial) and then export it to QBO.

Feel free to click the Reply button below for further assistance.

Note: I have revised my response to align with the solution you need.
