How helpful are accounting software really?

Hi guys,

I am planning to get an accounting software developed which will also have integrations with QB and SAP. I was recently reading a guide on how to get the accounting software developed and read a mention that accounting software help save 40% time, reduce 90% fraud risk, and save $16/invoice. Wanted to see if you guys have seen any such outcomes? 
Even if you don't have specific numbers, it would be helpful to know if you saw any perceived improvements in line with what the stats suggest?
