There are ways to reset your data, depending on how long your account has been active. You can use the automated purge tool for accounts under 60 days (excluding Simple Start), or cancel and create a new company file for older and Simple Start accounts.

Here's how to use the Purge Data Tool:

1. Make sure that you're the account's Administrator.
2. Look at your web browser's address bar. Delete everything in the URL after app/ and type in purgecompany.
3. Your URL should look like this: (https://app.qbo.intuit.com/app/purgecompany)
4. Press Enter, then review the summary page of the items that will be permanently deleted.
5. Type the word YES in the confirmation text box, then select OK.
6. Select your industry and choose whether you want QuickBooks to auto-build a Chart of Accounts or start with an empty one.
7. Click Wipe Data.

Please note, deleting or closing an account is permanent and cannot be undone. If you think you might need historical reports, tax logs, or customer lists later down the road, make sure to export your data to Excel or PDF before proceeding.
