I am a brand new user of quickbooks can someone help me get started by walking me through set up?

Don't worry, I can guide you through the steps on how you can create a QuickBooks account with us. First, you need to sign-up for the service then establish your profile after.

To get started, choose you plan from this link: QuickBooks Self-Employed Packages. From there, you can choose to buy and avail the current promotion.

Click the Buy now button for the product you think will work for your business. After that, you will be prompt to sign up and create your Intuit account. This is what you will use when logging in to your QBSE company file.

Once done, you'll be able to see and set the company file information. To get started with the program, here are some getting started guides and tutorials you can follow:

I purchased the online package for $399 but I do not think I did the set up right, when I go to sign in it does not recognize my email, so I have to the passcode thing, then when I get into the account I don't have the drop down settings menu in the tutorials, it says it wants me to start my free trial, so I can't figure out how to even put in my company name and stuff. :( It would be great to talk to a real person.

I'll help you access your QuickBooks account. To verify, are you signing up for QuickBooks Desktop or QuickBooks Self-Employed? These two products differ in their platform and design.

Feel free to also navigate each product in our test drives and trial links: QuickBooks Test-Drives and Trial Links – Find the Software that Fits Your Business.

Once you've verified your subscription and want to switch to a different QuickBooks product. You can cancel the other product and sign up for the right one.

To cancel QuickBooks Desktop subscription:

Log into your CAMPs account.
Select the QuickBooks Desktop Account you want to modify. If you have more than one, your login profile will show you which one is currently selected.
In the Products & Services area, find your subscription or service, then hit Details
Verify this is the product or service you no longer need, then click Cancel Service under the active
Please let us know why you are leaving so we can improve our services. After providing any details (optional), tap Continue to cancel.
Confirm your cancelation by clicking Cancel Now.
