I connected the PayPal app but there are missing transactions

Big gap in transactions: Newly connected my PayPal app and need to get all past transactions from 11/1/24 until now. It pulled everything down up until 5/13/25. I called QB and they said there was an issue but it would be resolved. Now I see new transactions from 6/9/25 but a gap of no transactions between 5/13/25 & 6/9/25. I have transactions in PayPal during this time. I'm trying to determine if having PayPal linked as an App or as a Bank is the way to go and this is very frustrating.

QuickBooks Online (QBO) depends on the information provided by PayPal. Within this context, you'll have to contact PayPal support to check for any issues on their end.

For now, you can manually enter the missing transactions. Follow the steps below on how to proceed:

 

  1. Log into your QBO account.
  2. Navigate to Transactions, and select Chart of accounts.
  3. Locate your PayPal account.
  4. Click View Register.
  5. Then, click the Add check dropdown menu and add the transactions.
