Question

I’m trying to connect my checking account, after I select my bank and sign in using the username and passwords for my bank, it prompts me to enter the code that was sent to my phone...but I never get a code. Any trouble shooting ideas? Thanks!

When connecting an account to QuickBooks, some banks require additional security steps after signing in with your username and password. Since you're not receiving their two-step authentication code, I'd recommend checking to see if there's an option to resend it. If there isn't a way, definitely try the process one more time by using your Gear (⚙️) icon, selecting Bank accounts, then hitting Continue or Connect another.
 

In the event you're still not receiving their verification code, you'll want to check what phone number you have on file with your financial institution. Most banks allow users to sign in online and review/update information. They can also be contacted if necessary.
