Invoice Changes

Quickbooks Online changed invoices so that now any invoice created from an estimate no longer has the text from the estimate included. Their little popup notice says, “We made changes to how Invoices look onscreen so you can focus on entering data. There’s no change to your PDF and email. To preview them, select Print or download or Review and send.” But the text still doesn’t show up on either of those options. I am concerned that my invoices are being sent to my customers without the text that they need, and I have an invoice that I need to make changes to, but I worry about doing that when the text is hidden.

@SarahCO

It’s completely understandable to expect all your estimate line details and subtotals to transfer cleanly over to your invoice, especially when converting estimates is a key part of your monthly routine.

We’ve created a case on your account and officially added you to our ongoing investigation about this. This will ensure you’re directly linked to the investigation and receive email updates as soon as our Product Investigations team have news or a resolution.
