We have a few things to look for if you're unsure if an email came from Intuit, Justin.

At QuickBooks, we adhere to strict guidelines and practices to protect your personal information. Hence, these suspicious emails can sometimes be a scheme to get you to share your information. These scams come in different forms but often look pretty convincing. Here are some things to remember:

  • We'll never ask for your personal info in an email.
  • Our emails will always come from an email address that ends with @intuit.com. It includes @e.intuit.com.
  • Any link we send you in an email will always be for an intuit.com address.

To ensure your safety, I suggest not opening any emailed links you suspect to be a scam. Thus, you can report this suspicious activity to our Security Team to prevent it from happening again. Here's how:

  1. Go to this link: https://security.intuit.com/contact-us.
  2. Look for Security.
  3. Then, click Report a fake email (or phishing).

This article gives you more in-depth information about the awareness and prevention of these kinds of scams: Identify suspicious activity, phishing scams, and potential fraud.

Keep in touch if you need anything else to manage your account security, Justin. We'll be right here to answer them for you.
