is there a way to set quickbooks to auto save when working on an invoice?

I spent close to an hour working on an invoice and without my knowing Intuit signed me out. When I logged back in all of my work on the invoice was gone!!

Hi gm,

 

While there is no auto-save feature in the QuickBooks Self-Employed subscription, you can use the Save as draft option to save your work before stepping away from an invoice. This ensures that you don’t lose valuable progress if you get timed out due to inactivity.

 

On the other hand, if you’re using a different QuickBooks subscription (e.g., Simple Start, Plus, etc.), you can adjust the timeout duration by going to the Advanced section in Account and settings. By default, the timeout setting is set to 1 hour, but you can extend it to up to 3 hours.
