I want to help you with this so I need some more information about this issue. Which report in QuickBooks are you using and how are these expenses recorded? Any information will help me provide the accurate resolution to the problem.
In the meantime, if all expenses appear in the register but not on reports, try accessing your QBO account in Incognito mode. Your browsing activity will constantly stack up and the cache will not delete them automatically. This often cause QuickBooks to function poorly.
The private window will not save any history making it a good place to identify browser problems. To start Incognito mode, use these keyboard shortcuts:
Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
Safari: press Command + Shift + N
If you're able to send the invoices without the error, clear the browser's cache. This will help delete the history, so you can start in a clean slate.
