Quickbooks says my subscription is canceled.  They charged me $1049 for the annual subscription and $75 per month.  All are paid.  I can’t get into my Quickbooks to use it after paying all this money!!!!! WTF!!!!!  I paid for the software.  Now they charge me both annual and monthly to use what I bought.  Now I can’t even use it after they billed me.  Very frustrating.

I understand your concerns. Let's start by opening the Customer Account Management Portal (CAMPs) to verify your QuickBooks Desktop subscription status. If the status shows as active but the software flags it as cancelled, a temporary connection issue is blocking your software from verifying your active license with Intuit's servers.

We can resolve this by refreshing your license by renaming the EntitlementDataStore.ecml file:

First, make sure that hidden files are visible or use the Windows search to locate the Entitlement Client folder before proceeding with these steps:

  1. On your keyboard, press Windows+to open the Run command.
  2. Copy and paste the path C:\ProgramData\Intuit\Entitlement Client\v8, then press Enter.
  3. Right-click on the EntitlementDataStore.ecml file, then select Rename.
  4. Rename the file to EntitlementDataStore.ecml.OLD.

Once done, sync your license data online. You can visit this article for more information: Sync license data online error.

Once you're back in, can you confirm whether the $1,049 annual charge and the $75/month are for two separate products? For example, a QuickBooks Desktop license plus a Payroll add-on or whether these look like duplicate charges? That'll help us make sure you're not being billed incorrectly.

If the $75 is tied to a Payroll add-on, and it also appears as active but cancelled, update your service key by following this article: Get started with QuickBooks Desktop Payroll Enhanced.

However, if all your subscriptions show as inactive, I recommend contacting Intuit Experts to reconcile your payment record and reactivate your access directly.

Let me know how it goes, and we'll take it from there.

@geofmassa Can you login to CAMPS and find your license code there? Is the license status Active?
