Question

Request a refund for the cancelled subscription

Hi, I noticed that I was charged for my QuickBooks Online subscription today after my free trial ended. I was not expecting the charge and I do not wish to continue with the paid subscription.

I have canceled the subscription and would like to request a refund for the charge made today. Since the charge was just made today, I would really appreciate it if you could make a one-time exception and refund the amount.

Once the trial period ends, your account will automatically convert to a paid subscription. This is why the bank account you provided when signing up for QuickBooks was charged on the first day of the paid period. To avoid being charged, cancellation must be completed before the trial period ends. Since you cancelled after the trial period, we recommend contacting our Intuit Experts to see if you’re eligible for a refund.

If you're inquiring about an annual subscription for QuickBooks Online (QBO), please refer to this article: Request a refund for your product.
