The QuickBooks Self-Employed mobile app is no longer available for download as of March 24, 2024. Existing users who have already downloaded the app will still have access, but new customers will not be able to download it. Since your app has been updated, access may be disrupted. However, you can still redownload the app from your app store account history rather than the app library.
For iOS:
Open the App Store app.
Tap the Sign-in button at the top of the screen.
Click Purchased.
If you use Family Sharing, tap My Purchases or select a family member’s name to view the content they purchased.
Click Not on this [device name].
Find the app you want to download, then tap the Download button.
For Android:
Open the Google Play Store app.
Tap your Profile icon in the top right corner.
Select Manage apps & device.
Tap the Manage tab at the top.
Tap the Installed drop-down menu and change it to Not installed.
Check the boxes next to the apps you want to retrieve and tap the Download/Install arrow icon at the top.
You can also access all your self-employed data through your phone/computer web browser. Here's how:
Enter the same credentials you use for your account.
I also recommend checking out the latest QuickBooks Solopreneur. It's a similar product with more advanced features that help you organize both your business and personal transactions, track mileage, and measure your business performance.
Regarding the unavailability of chat support, please check their support hours to ensure you receive prompt assistance.
