WEB Connect connection aborted

The error stating it could not connect usually means QuickBooks isn't running, your company file is closed, or a secondary window inside the software is blocking the connection.

To fix this, completely exit and reopen QuickBooks. Sign back into your company file and ensure all other windows inside the software are closed before trying the connection again.

The message about the update being aborted may indicate an older version of Web Connector or an update prompt from the third-party application. If any on-screen prompts appear, follow them to complete the update.
