Before we do so, may I ask if you encountered any error message connecting your bank to your QBO account? For now, you can start a manual download to get transactions from your bank to your QBO. To begin, here's how:
Access your QuickBooks Online company.
On the left navigational bar, go to the Bookkeeping tab.
Select Transactions, then select Banking.
Click Update.
Once done, you'll also want to check your bank or credit card's website to verify if their doing some maintenance work which can also cause bank connection to slow down.
