Can I find older transactions to import?

Hi there, @accounts-gbmusic. I'll make sure to help you import your older transactions in QuickBooks Online.

You'll have to manually upload transactions if you want to import older transactions or if your bank or credit card won't connect to QuickBooks.

Here's how:
 

1. Select Banking or Transactions menu and choose Banking.
2. Choose the blue tile for the account you want to upload the transactions into.
3. Click the Link account dropdown and then Upload from file.
4. Select Browse and then locate the file you downloaded from your bank. Then click Next.
5. In the QuickBooks account dropdown, select the account you want to upload the transactions into and click Next.
6. To match the columns in the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks, follow the onscreen instructions then go Next.
7. Select the transactions you would like to import then choose Next.
8. Click Yes and then Let's go.

Once you have already imported all of the transactions, you can now match and categorise them. Then, finally reconcile your account to ensure your books are accurate.
