Can you upload or import a pay run from a csv or excel file in QBO?

Yes, kmalone. We can only import and export pay runs in QBO Advanced Payroll. However, this option is unavailable in the Standard payroll version. If you have the QBO advanced, you'll want to follow the steps in importing a pay run to your QuickBooks account.

1. Go to Payroll, and select the Pay Runs tab.
2. Choose the unfinalized pay run you wish to import.
3. Select the Pay Run Actions.
4. Then hit Import Pay Run.
