Hello, Bradley.

Thank you for reaching out about connecting your bank account and ensuring you have the necessary transactions from the last tax year.

Please note that when you connect your bank with QuickBooks Sole Trader, the number of transactions downloaded depends on your bank. Some provide up to 90 days, while others offer up to 24 months. Since you're only seeing transactions from November, you'll need to manually upload older transactions as a CSV file to get your full tax year data.

Here's how:

  1. Navigate to the Transactions menu.
  2. Click the New transaction dropdown, and select Upload bank statement.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to upload your CSV file.

Once uploaded, the transactions will appear directly in your Bank transactions. Be sure to review them and delete any duplicates to avoid discrepancies in your records.

If you have furher concerns, feel free to add a reply below.

What file format can you download from your bank?
