How do I register a cash sale without a client's name for my accounts?

I've got steps on how to record a cash sale in QuickBooks Online (QBO) without the client's name, and receipts send out. 

If you're referring to Sales Receipts as a direct cash sale in QBO, here's how to record them without the customer's name and receipts being sent out. 

1. Go to the + New on the upper left side. 
2. Choose the Sales Receipts tab.
3. Make sure to leave the Customer field blank. 
4. In the Product/Service section, select the appropriate item and complete the necessary details. 
5. Click Save or Save and close. 

Additionally, you can run the Transaction Detail by Account to review all the receipts you've previously recorded into the system. Then customize it to show the specific information. Let me show you how. 

1. Go to the Reports tab on the left pane. 
2. Type the said report in the search box. 
3. Click the Customise button. 
4. Pick Account in the Group by field. 
5. Check the Transaction Type box, then choose Sales Receipts. 
6. In the Product/Service box, select the correct item. 
7. Filter the necessary fields, then tap Run report.
