I am trying to unlink the bank account i have registered with quick books. Can anybody help?

Unlinking bank accounts in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is easy peasy. And I'd be happy to guide you through the process of how to do it.

1. Sign in to your QBO account.
2. Click Banking/Transactions from the left menu, then select Banking.
3. Choose the bank account you want to unlink.
4. Select the pencil icon, then click Edit account info.
5. Click the Disconnect this account on save checkbox.
6. Select Save and Close.

Once done, please know that QuickBooks will delete all transactions that still need to be categorised in the For Review tab when your bank account is disconnected.

If want to reconnect it again, you'll need to complete all the connection steps again. This includes reauthorising the bank by completing, printing, signing, and posting the authorisation form.
