I'm here to ensure you can link your Tide bank account in QuickBooks, @karenhaywood4-gm.
First, may I ask if you encountered an error code or message? I appreciate further details and it can help me determine the reason why you can't connect it and I'll be able to provide a more specific resolution.
In the meantime, you'll want to check if Tide bank is having a system issue. This is a typical reason why we experienced unusual behavior in QuickBooks Online. You can visit their website or get in touch with them.
In addition, you can also bring in the transactions manually via CSV file. All you need is to get the transactions from Tide and upload them to QuickBooks Online. To proceed, here's how:
In QuickBooks Online, select Bookkeeping, choose Transactions, then click Bank transactions (Take me there).
Select Upload transactions.
Choose Drag and drop or select files and then select the file you downloaded from your bank. Then click Continue.
In the QuickBooks account ▼ dropdown, choose the account you want to upload the transactions into. Then click Continue.
Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks. Then select Continue.
Select the transactions you would like to import. Then select Continue.
I'll be waiting for your additional information. Feel free to comment below if you have additional questions about linking your Tide bank account to QuickBooks. I've always got your back. Stay safe!
