I can’t record payments in my QB sole trader app & have to manually reconnect my bank account each time I want to - help?

My banking app shows it’s connected to QB Sole Ttader app, but the QB app never seems to update my bank transactions in its app

Hi, @regina26. When you mentioned that you can't receive a payment, did you see any specific error message? This will help me provide a solution that fits your issue.

 

In the meantime, since your bank transactions aren't pulling the latest data and you can't receive payments, you can perform app troubleshooting, as an app issue can affect how the QuickBooks app functions.

 

First, you can refresh your app data in the QuickBooks app, which helps fix minor issues and enhances performance.

 

If you're using Android, clear the software data by going to Settings Apps QuickBooks app Storage Clear Data.

 

For iPhone, go to Settings App iPhone Storage QuickBooks App Offload.

 

This will free up the storage without deleting your app's documents and data.

 

If the problem continues, you can uninstall and reinstall the QuickBooks app to ensure it functions properly. Alternatively, you can record payments by signing in to your QuickBooks Online account in any supported web browser.
