Welcome to the Community, @julie147.

Good to see you here in the Community. It's my priority to help ensure your bank transactions are up-to-date in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).

May I know what bank account you're using?

There are several instances of why you’re unable to receive the latest bank transactions.

  • They may have implemented changes to their service offerings, Web Connect or Direct Connect.
  • An update on your bank’s information such as the name (bank merger), account number, and login credentials requires you to refresh it in QuickBooks.
  • You may have an Inactive Bank Account enabled for Online Banking in QuickBooks.
  • There may be ongoing maintenance on your bank’s website.

Let’s run a manual update to ensure your bank transactions are up-to-date. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Choose Bank Account.
  3. Click Refresh On.

This process will restore the bank connection and will trigger updates to your bank transactions.

Lastly, I've also included this helpful article for the steps in case you need to start balancing your account register:

How to reconcile your accounts so they always match your bank and credit card statements?

Keep me posted if you have additional questions about banking transactions in QBSE. I'll be around to help.
