I have just signed up to QuickBooks, and connected my bank account, and for each transaction whichever way I swipe it says confirm in green? What am I confirming?

Thank you for choosing QuickBooks Online as your company's accounting program, @shellswtp-yahoo-.  I wish to share some knowledge regarding managing transactions on the bank feed.

Are you referring to the green boxes on the following screenshot?

If so, these are the Match boxes. QuickBooks matches the downloaded transaction to the one you already input. This combines them to prevent duplicates. You can select the appropriate transaction to link if it finds multiple matches for the same amount.
