I'm unable to manage consent to reconnect my bank account as the connection has lapsed. Do I connect bank account as if I'm starting from scratch?

Yes, Myfocusstt.

If the connection to your bank account in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) has lapsed and you're unable to manage consent or reconnect through the existing setup, you can reconnect the account as if you're starting fresh.

Please note that disconnecting your account will permanently delete all transaction history, and this action cannot be undone. To proceed with reconnecting, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Settings ⚙ and select Manage accounts.
  2. Reconnect the account by clicking + Connect another account.
  3. In the search box, enter the name of your bank and account type.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to reconnect your account. Once reconnected, QuickBooks will automatically download your recent bank transactions.

Let us know in the comments below if you need additional assistance managing your bank account in QBSE.
