Hi, Babypinkbeauty22. I appreciate you reconnecting your bank account and understand how errors disrupt the workflow of handling transactions. We want to assure you that we are here to help you eliminate any duplicate bank transactions.

Could you please provide the name of your bank and what error message or code appears when the connection issue occurs?

QuickBooks Online (QBO) relies on the bank to determine which transactions are pulled into the account, as we are merely the receiving party. Occasionally, updates to the bank's financial institution connection may lead to duplicate transactions. This duplication can occur if there are issues with the bank connection during these updates.

In the meantime, you can browse through this article to check if the error code you encountered is listed: Fix bank connection errors in QuickBooks.

To clean up your QuickBooks Online (QBO) duplicate bank feed transactions, one effective method is to manually exclude those transactions:

  1. Head over to the Transaction tab and select the Bank transactions.
  2. Look for the transaction you want to remove.
  3. Tick the box next to the transaction and click Exclude.
